      • Lackawanna County’s Real Estate Tax Penalty period is from June 29, 2024 through December 31, 2024. The penalty rate is 10%.
      • The City of Scranton and Scranton School District’s Real Estate Tax Discount period is through April 15, 2024. The Discount rate is 2%.
      • The City of Scranton and Scranton School District’s Real Estate Tax Face Value period is between April 16, 2024 and June 28, 2024.

    You will need your PIN # and amount due. This information is found on your current year real estate tax bill.

Employers Withholding Tax

  • What will I need to pay Employers Withholding taxes?
    You must know your 5 digit account number, the year and quarter you are paying and the tax type (EIT or LST/EMS).Please Note: You still must submit your return (501, W1, LST) to the Single Tax Office.
